I loooooove slow burn and Mariana Zapata. This book is my favourite in particular and I love the tension between the mains. I am a huge fan of Sarah Maclean and have loved most of what she’s written. One good earl deserves a lover by Sarah Maclean. Melt for you & Burn for you by J T Geissenger (I loved the slow build up, the tension & the characters)īeach Read by Emily Henry was really cute and I enjoyed the story a lot. I love hero’s of all shapes and sizes and the same goes for heroines.Īnything Mariana Zapata (genuinely, I enjoy every book she’s written). It isn’t sex scenes in books that makes me happy it’s all the little tension, the glances, the flexed jaw, the smiles. I’m just aching for that slooooow burn lol into a wonderful relationship. I don’t care how long it is but prefer books that are over 300 pages if possible. I don’t care when the book takes place (historical, future, nowadays). I’ve noticed a lot of slow burn books are the enemies to lovers sort of trope and I would really really prefer books that are friends to lovers. I really enjoy tension (romantic or sexual) in books.
If there is insta love/insta love I just like for my main characters to slow down and let things move naturally. I really dislike insta love, insta lust is ok I’m good with or without insta lust. I’m struggling to find a slow burn romance book.
